The client:

Glenmorangie is an award winning Company selling single malt Scottish whisky.

The challenge:

Glenmorangie required an Expenses Claim system to manage and report all employee expenses. The system needed to be web accessible, functional and easy to use.

The technology:

CES created a new Domino Application to manage employee’s expenses claim.The application is only accessible via Internet browser, though some actions will require to be executed from the Lotus Notes client (version 6.5 or above).  The system is easy to use, with a smooth workflow that ensures information is made available to the appropriate users in a timely manner.  This new system was developed using Xpages, a new Lotus Domino Technology toolkit.

The solution:

CES created a new application accessible via internet browsers and is easy to use, with a smooth workflow that ensures information is made available to the appropriate users in a timely manner. The system allows:
• Employees to detail and manage their monthly expenses and request approval from their manager
• Managers and Finance to review and approve/reject expenses claims
• Finance to record employees' Cash Advances and update Claim Types and Departments fields.
• Updates on currency exchange rate
• Notifications to be sent out through email, for example when an expenses claim is approved.
