IT Sales Executive/Business Development Manager

We are looking for an ambitious IT New Business Sales Professional to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing new business with clients within SME through to Corporate Private and Public Sector.

You will have a strong experience of selling IT Solutions using IBM, Microsoft or Open Source technology. An understanding of the opportunities and challenges of delivering solutions into Public or Private sector organisations.

You will also be a polished, dynamic, well-presented sales person who can deal with people at all levels and as Business Development Manager you will be responsible for pro-actively managing the Complete Sales Cycle from Prospecting through to Close & Account Management.

Key Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Responsible for Identifying, Developing & Closing Sales through Sustained Prospecting.
  • Manage the Sales Process as necessary and fully understand the Business, Buying & Decision Making Process as well as Developing Effective Relationships with Key Contacts in the Accounts.
  • Maintain High Awareness & Knowledge of the Business Market, Industry, Competitors & IT Market in general.

Key Skills required for the role will include:

  • Must have successful Sales experience in IT Business-to-Business Capacity marketplace.
  • Proven ability to Develop & Maintain an Effective Network of Contacts and Build Relationships.
  • Commercial & Financial Acumen and Awareness of Issues involved in Negotiating Contracts.
  • Team Player able to Work & Support Colleagues.
  • Clear Evidence of Constant Target over achievement in a Profit and Margin Driven Sales Environment.
  • Proven Record of New Business Development
